"Traditional Japanese Sake Brewery" was registered as a UNESCO Intangible Cultural Heritage on December 5, 2024.
Fukushima Prefecture is also known as the "Sake Kingdom", and this UNESCO registration is expected to attract even more attention to the sake of Fukushima.
To commemorate the registration of UNESCO Intangible Cultural Heritage, Mercure Urabandai Resort & Spa will offer Aizu's local sake Suehiro dry for a limited time as a lounge service that can be used by guests. Please take this opportunity to enjoy Aizu's sake.

Nagakubo Foods Co., Ltd.'s Shisomaki is a traditional taste that has been made in keeping with the manufacturing method since its establishment in 1934.
It is a gem made by wrapping pickled radish with a shiso and soaking it in soy sauce three times.
