"Goshiki-numa" is the most famous scenic spot in Urabandai. It is a mysterious place with different colors depending on the swamp, and is said to be a "mysterious lake". Please enjoy the colorful lakes and marshes at Goshiki-numa Shizentanshoro.

Walk around Goshiki-numa
An 8-minute walk from the hotel, go to the symbol of Fukushima Prefecture, Goshiki-numa. A large number of tourists visit about 30 swamps that change into mysterious colors such as emerald green and cobalt blue.

It is a symbol of Aizuwakamatsu City and one of the 100 famous castles. In the Boshin War of 1868, it endured a month-long onslaught of the new government army and became known as an impregnable castle.
