Touring in and around Urabandai will begin in late April.
The Bandai Azuma Lake Line, Bandai-azuma Skyline, West Azuma Sky Valley, and Mount Bandai Gold Line, which are closed during the winter season, are scheduled to open around late April every year.

Bandai Azuma Lake Line <Urabandai Superb View Touring Road running through lakes and forests>
The Bandai Azuma Lake Line is a sightseeing road with a total length of about 13 km that runs through the Urabandai area in northern Fukushima Prefecture. It is the best touring route for the green season, connecting lakes and marshes such as Nakatsugawa Valley, Lake Akimoto, and Lake Onogawa, with gentle winding and refreshing scenery of the plateau continuing.

Nishi Azuma Sky Valley <Dynamic winding across prefectural borders>
Nishi-Azuma Sky Valley is a 17km-long mountain sightseeing road connecting Kitashiobara Village, Fukushima Prefecture and Yonezawa City, Yamagata Prefecture. It is a full-fledged touring route with a hill climb that runs up to an altitude of about 1,400m and a technical downhill with a continuous tight corner.

Lake Hibara <Exhilarating green season touring around the lake in the plateau>
Lake Hibara, a lake representing Urabandai, is a plateau lake located at an altitude of about 820m. The lakeside road is the best route for touring with few traffic lights and gentle curves and moderate up and down.

・Move from fresh green to deep green contrast between forests and lake surfaces
・An open section running like a lake
・The traffic is relatively calm and you can run in a constant rhythm
One lap is about 30 km. You can go around in about 1 to 1.5 hours while taking pictures. It is not a road that speeds up, but a road that flows while enjoying the scenery.

Mount Bandai Gold Line <A famous road of highland winding running up Mount Bandai>
A mountain sightseeing road with a total length of about 18 km connecting Urabandai and Inawashiro. A full-fledged touring route with a hill climb that runs up at a stretch of about 600m in altitude, and a medium-high-speed corner that continues rhythmically.

Bandai-azuma Skyline <The Top 100 Roads in Japan>
A mountain sightseeing road with a total length of about 29 km from Takayu Onsen in Fukushima City to Tsuchiyu Pass. It is known for its scale feeling that runs up to an altitude of 1,600m and the dynamic landscape unique to volcanic areas. This road was selected in 1987 by the Ministry of Construction (currently the Ministry of Land, Infrastructure, Transport and Tourism) and the Japan Road Association * One of Japan's Top 100 Roads * It is one of the best roads in Japan that has been comprehensively evaluated for landscape, history, culture, regional characteristics, etc.

Lake Inawashiro <Lakeside Touring full of openness running while feeling the sky and lake>
Lake Inawashiro is the fourth largest lake in Japan. The route that goes around the lakeshore while overlooking Mount Bandai is ideal for excursion touring that emphasizes openness in the Urabandai area.
One lap is about 55 km. There are many sections with few traffic lights, and you can enjoy refreshing cruising that flows the lake surface and sky sideways.

Roadside Station Urabandai
Roadside station Urabandai is a road station located in the wilderness surrounded by mountains. In summer, you can see the lush mountains and lakes, and in autumn you can see the lake surface shining in the autumn leaves.
